Races Barbarian Through Dwarf

Barbarian

Barbarians are humans adapted to live in the wilderness. They are excellent fighters and excel at warriors and weaponmasters. They can also be good clerics as they believe in the gods and are devoutly religious. Barbarians lack the tact to be good thieves, and are sceptical of magic. Barbarians are resistant to weapons but vulnerable to magic. Barbarians cost 15 creation points.

Birdman

Birdmen are human/phoenix hybrids. They can fly and are quite agile, but somewhat lacking in strength. Birdmen make good thieves and clerics, are somewhat less adept as mages, and are not good warriors.

Colossus

Colossus are intelligent giants, very capable mages. Similar in appearance to normal giants, they refrain from bloody combat and dwell in the magical arts. Colossus is only available after remort. Colossuses are slower than most beings, but often bash their opponants in physical combat. They are resistant to charm, lightning, fire, cold, and mental affects, but quite vulnerable to slashing attacks. They cost 9 creation points.

Dragon

Dragons are huge flying reptiles, known for their amazing strength and magical aura available only after remort. Dragons are extremily intelligent and find other races somewhat beneath their consideration, they can be very stuck up. Dragons are excellent mages and also make good clerics. They can also make good warriors or weaponmasters although their dexterity is quite low. Dragons can fly, see in the dark and regenerate quickly. They also receive bash, hand to hand, enhanced damage, and fast healing for free (if of the appropriate class). They are resistant to fire, slashing attacks and bashing. They are vulnerable to cold and piercing attacks. dDragons cost 40 creation points.

Drow

Drow are a form of elf that live in shadow. They are excellent at deception and all drow have the innate ability to meld with their surroundings, becoming invisible. Drow are quick, and intelligent, but not terribly strong. Drow are resistant to negative energies and cold, but vulnerable to light and holy energies. They are very fast in combat, often able to land multiple hits on an opponant in short time. Drow cost 10 creation points.

Dwarf

Dwarves are short, stocky demi-humans, known for foul temper and great stamina. Dwarves have high strength and constitution, but poor dexterity. They are not as smart as humans, but are usually wiser due to their long lifespans. Dwarves make excellent warriors, weaponsmasters, and clerics, but are very poor mages or thieves. Dwarves are very resistant to poison and disease, but cannot swim, and so are very vulnerable to drowning. They recieve the berserk skill for free (if warriors), and can see in the dark with infravision. Dwarves cost 8 creation points.
